The French Revolution lasted close to three decades, if you consider civil and international conflicts and the flare ups that occurred. During that time, a lot of people died in the name of "Liberte, equalite, et fraternite". Was the end result worth the violence? Explain briefly.
I believe that the french commoners were fighting for the right thing, I believe that fraternity, equality and liberty are worth the violence of the french revolution.
ReplyDeletein the end i think that it was all kinda worth it because it saved many more lives but then it was also pointless
ReplyDeleteit was all for nothing because many died anyway
ReplyDeleteIn the end of the french revolution with all the violence that happened I say that some violence could have been avoided during it but violence was needed to prove there point to the king of France and in the end they did succeed.

ReplyDeleteyes i do believe it was seeing that they got out of the feudal system and there was no more classes and everyone was equal. A lot of innocent people did died at the guillotine and mass drownings but it did improve in the end for everyone except the royals.
ReplyDeleteno, because everyoen should be considered equal and should respect eachtoher and not go agaisnt what anyone says for revenge or whatever. but no matter what, violence isn't the answer
ReplyDeleteyes i do feel the french revolution was worth it in the end. even though a lot of people did die at the guillotine and was killed in mass drownings they did get rid of the feudal system and everyone was equal in the end.

The French Revolution was definitely worth it. Even though revolutions tend to be ineffective for bringing about meaningful change, this one was special. Although many were killed in the process through beheading and wars, the end result was something truly incredible. When Napoleon Bonaparte took over France, he helped bring about the ideals of liberty, equality and fraternity even if he betrayed them himself on occasions. Even though he was eventually overthrown, Napoleon had a lasting impact which can still be observed today.
